About Dr. Powell
Maceo Powell, DC, is the talented and compassionate chiropractor at the heart of Powell Family Chiropractic in Sarasota, Florida. With over 20 years of experience, Dr. Powell offers expert treatments for lower back pain, neck pain, and headaches.
Dr. Powell earned his Doctor of Chiropractic at Parker University in Dallas, Texas, and has continued to study the human body and health. He’s completed several programs with the American Posture Institute and is a Certified Postural Expert, Certified Postural Neurologist, and Certified Ergonomist. Dr. Powell is a member of the Foundation for Wellness Professionals, a nonprofit national organization that offers free health screenings in the community.
In addition to offering customized chiropractic care, Dr. Powell provides expert nutritional counseling and treats conditions such as leaky gut and irritable bowel syndrome. He helps patients heal their digestive tracts and reduce inflammation throughout their bodies for enhanced overall health.
Outside of his practice, Dr. Powell enjoys spending time with his wife and three beautiful daughters.
